Beside The Trail

This painting was done mostly pleinair, plus a few touches in the studio. It was done while sitting next to the Wolf River trail in Germantown, Tennessee. I tried to capture the hide and seek alternating patterns of light and dark which gives your eyes a fun little puzzle to figure out.
