Little farm in the foothills

I admire landscape paintings that transport me to a certain place/ time... where I can almost feel the atmosphere of the place in the painting. Of course, this is anything but easy to achieve and takes a level of mastery attained over the years of painting. But in any case, that is what I strive to create a little bit in my work. What caught my eye with this scene was the beautiful atmosphere and the charming little farm sitting at the foothills. Just a peaceful pastoral scene which I found so calming.
