The Bow Wave

Last fall/winter I was out on the Chesapeake Bay learning about oyster dragging and tonging. The light was really odd, like before a storm, where colors are deep and shadowy. One of many boats heading back to port, the one behind us was beautiful, just awesome in its movement. The wave is definitely the star of this painting.
