Oil painting on stretched canvas. One evening in February, I stepped out into my backyard in Henderson, Nevada, which overlooks the Vegas valley and the Las Vegas strip. I was awestruck by the beauty of the snow-capped mountains as the sun had just disappeared behind them. The lights were coming on in the valley and the strip but I chose to minimize those to emphasize those majestic mountain tops. I am 81 years old.
