Magical Morning Light of Autumn

My work is executed in soft pastel on Sennelier Sanded Pastel Card (heavy textured paper-board). I apply the pastel thickly, often spraying between layers in order to apply additional pastel over the previous colors. This painting was completed entirely outdoors over a period of days at the "Hortus Eystettensis" historic renaissance garden, more commonly known as the Bastionsgarten, in Eichstaett, Germany.
