Sailing- Take Me Away

One of my favorite plein air painting locations is the Washington Sailing Marina in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. I spend many days happily painting next to the moored sailboats. My favorite song is still "Sailing" by Christopher Cross. Hmmm...I think the universe is trying to tell me something. Might it be time to actually learn how to sail.? This particular painting was started en plein air and completed in my studio.
