The coastal trail in East Sooke Park is one of my favourite walking trails on southern Vancouver Island. It provides gorgeous views of forested, rocky headlands and across the Juan de Fuca Strait to the Olympic Mountains in Washington State. During the Covid pandemic I’ve been experimenting with watercolour painting at home, and scenes from the coastal areas close to my home have been some of my favourites to paint.
