Plein air watercolor is the most difficult and challenging medium I work in. I travel widely hoping to find subjects like this. On a trip to teach in Wyoming, I got permission to work on this historic ranch and this is what I made of what I found.I work quickly, without hesitation to capture the light and feel of the moment.
