Almost Heaven

Painted in the studio after painting many sunsets plein air. My family has had a condo on Hilton Head for 35 years, so I go there often and show at a gallery there. It's been a slow build over about 10 years, but paintings of the sunset over the marsh are what I'm primarily painting and selling these days. They're so much fun to paint, and watching the sunset on Hilton Head brings back so many good memories for me.
