conversation with coffee

I had painted this image using watercolors. I got inspired by the light illuminating by the surroundings in the afternoon, across the street. Usually I start with first wash using warm colors, to establish the light for creating the atmosphere and then I go with grays to bring out the figures, when the paper is still left dampened, then I add details with dark and then highlight with gouache.
