This painting is a view from Red Top Mountain, GA. A beautiful place I visit often. On this particular day, it was dark, gloomy and somewhat ominous. My vehicle was packed, leaving Georgia, headed for a new adventure in Chicago. On my way out of Atlanta, I had to stop to visit one last time one of my favorite places in Georgia, at the top of Red Top Mountain above Lake Allatoona. This is the scene I captured as I headed north to Chicago, leaving Atlanta in my rear view mirror.
