Noon at the Wharfinger

Painted on location over several sittings at the Wharfinger Marina in Eureka, CA. I was intrigued at the feel of the light here and how the angularities of shape and form seem to guide the eye along happily from left to right. I fell in love with the rhythm of the water for both its transparent-greens and reflected-blues which can change drastically when the wind dies just a touch. A real treat it is to study light here at mid-day.
