Majestic Sunrise

This painting started out with putting bright and bold colors on the paper. First it was going to be just a forest with a sunset. But as I kept developing the painting, a mountain and then mountains became part of the scene. The last thing that became part of the composition was the stream. I kept working with the pastels to give as much color as possible in the early morning view.
